This lino print is very special to me, inspired by a question in Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way: “If you were a colour, what colour would you be and why?” For me, the answer was clear — green. Not just any green, but the fresh, vibrant green of nature all around us. It felt like the perfect way to express growth, renewal, and the feeling of being alive like the world outside.
This misprint/seconds edition features small variations that make each print truly one-of-a-kind. Some prints may have slightly heavier ink, extra ink patches, or natural lino marks — each imperfection adds character and reflects the handcrafted process. Because of these variations, no two misprints are exactly alike, and each carries its own unique charm.
Each print is:
Hand-carved and hand-printed using traditional lino-cut techniques
Printed on high-quality, eco-friendly paper to highlight the texture and detail of the carving
Signed at the bottom before shipping
Discounted as a misprint – may feature heavier ink, extra ink patches, or more than usually lino marks
These seconds are perfect if you love handmade artwork and don’t mind a few visible quirks — in fact, they often add extra character to each print.
