hail strawberry

Hail Strawberry is a celebration of strawberry season, inspired by one of my sketches from the 100 Days Project and the simple joy of gathering around something that makes us smile.

This lino print grew from one of the sketches in my 100 Days Project. The idea came to me on a morning walk with my dog during strawberry season. Inspired by an earlier sketch of women dancing around a Beltane fire, I imagined something a little more playful instead – people gathering to celebrate a giant strawberry.

Hand-carved and hand-printed using red oil-based ink on beautiful 28 × 38 cm Somerset Satin printmaking paper, each print is individually pulled by hand. Because of this, every print carries its own subtle variations, making each one unique.

This print is part of a small first batch of five, all signed by hand.

  • Where possible, I’m using recycled materials to ship each individual order. This print is going to be shipped using the postal tube and acid free paper to protect the print as much as possible.

    If out of stock, I print on demand although it can take up to 3 days for the print to completely dry.

    It will be send out within 7 days from putting an order :)
